After the meeting in Helsinki (Finland), the project partners started working on the content for the “Marketing for Artists - Training Course”.
Education In Progress SPAIN is in charge of developing Unit 3 “Design of promotional services, marketing plan and communication strategy for artistic and cultural goods and services”.
While looking for interesting materials that can support VET Art Teachers in becoming more skilled with Marketing in the field of art, we have found relevant information related to “Creation of an Artistic Proposal”. Basically, what artists need to learn is how to structure an art proposal, practice writing, create videos, and find teamwork opportunities and many different ways of collaboration.
Within the “Marketing for Artists” project, we are preparing several materials and practical exercises that teachers can use in their classes, but we also found it interesting to have a look at the book of Gigi Rosenberg “The artist's guide to grant writing“.
